Hello all – it’s been a while hasn’t it? Excuse my absence but I come baring ‘gifts’ – a post dedicated to an indoor picnic party I threw last year!
This birthday party was originally planned to take place outdoors, but we know how unpredictable the British weather is so I was forced to bring it indoors at the very last minute. With my little sister turning 10, I knew the party needed to be fun but not too “childish”.
The space I work from plays a big part in my creativity. My inspiration stems from my surroundings – without a clear, bright space I can’t think straight. My current workspace at home is pretty much non-existent, so I like to venture off to a nearby coffee shop or library in order to focus. However, scrolling through my Instagram feed recently, all I ever seem to see are immaculate rooms with perfectly arranged desks and the most amazing accessories and I can’t help but be jealous. Jealous of an Instagram picture, what has life come to?
After years of saying “I’ll do it next month”, I’ve finally got down to redecorating my room! This is part one of my bedroom inspiration diaries where I’ll be documenting the inspiration process behind creating my dream bedroom.
Redecoration has been on my to-do list for a very long time – 5 years to be precise (I guess I’m just a great procrastinator!) However, now that I’ve made it my mission to complete redecorating by the end of next month, I am absolutely obsessed with scouring the internet for inspiration and decor.
Whenever I’m in need of a little inspiration, there’s no other place to go to other than Pinterest. My current board is bursting with my favourite looks, and I thought why not share what I’ve found over here. I only wish I had a bigger room so I could replicate all of these looks!
